ESTOC welcomes Sweden’s call to lift the ban on Swedish snus
The European Smokeless Tobacco Council (ESTOC) welcomes Sweden’s call upon the EU Commission on Friday to legalize the sale of Swedish snus in Europe .
ESTOC welcomes EU Committee report that snus is much safer than smoking
The EU Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENIHR) has confirmed in a new report that consumption of most smokeless tobacco products and especially Swedish snus is many times safer than smoking. SCENIHR also reports major variations in the relative risk of different types of smokeless tobacco products. The European Smokeless Tobacco Council (ESTOC) welcomes these findings.
